Birthday at BELvue Museum

Invite your friends to the museum for an unforgettable afternoon! After you have explored the museum in a playful manner, it is time for a creative workshop and then comes the highlight of the party: the snack!

" Pierre, a friend from France, was supposed to visit the museum today. But unfortunately the trains were stopped...".

The guide tells this story and suggests that the children make a "souvenir booklet" of the museum, which will then be sent to Pierre.

First of all, the children discover the Museum's gallery of objects in a fun and interactive way. They draw inspiration from the objects in the museum to make a pawn (which they will use later in the afternoon) and they also make an object of their choice for Pierre's booklet.

On their return to the museum, the children explore the themed rooms with their pawns, playing a game of geese in teams. They finish the booklet for Pierre by adding a drawing, a collage or a story related to the themes dealt with in the museum.

That's the end of the workshop: time for lunch and handing out the presents!

Practical information

For children between 6 and 12 years old
Max. 15 children (1 accompanying parent required)
A guide accompanies the children throughout the activity. However, we do ask that a parent be present to accompany the children.
Hours: Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm
Price: 175 euros including the costs for the guide, the room for the snack and the materials.

The celebration itself (food, drinks, plates and cutlery and decorations) must be provided by the parents.

You pay an advance of 150€ to Arkadia and 25€ on the spot to BELvue on the day itself.
